Anita D Daniels: Anita is a Texas based designer who designed the Media Lounge for the Super Bowl held in Houston in 2017 and it was widely regarded as the best in 17 years! Anita owns her own luxury brand design company, Anita D Designer, which according to her website provides “Luxury High End Fashion Interior Design and Event Planning Services both Nationally and Internationally” and started the Anita D Designer Foundation to assist rebuilding the homes and lives of blacks and brown communities affected by Hurricane Harvey. Sounds like she is a force of nature to be reckoned with herself! @anitaddesignerfoundation
Rhonnika Clifton: Rhonnika Clifton is the CEO and Principal Designer for R J Clifton Designs, which according to their website describes themselves as having a “creative flair for the unexpected and a passion for style, we design outside the lines.”. What a wonderful statement! And from the work we’ve seen, very true and very fabulous! Rhonnika has been in the business for over a decade and earned many awards and accolades as well as co-founded Creative Conversations, LLC, a social peer group for African American interior designers, design students, and industry professionals. Samantha Josaphat: Samantha is from New York, New York and named her firm Studio 397 because she is the 397th African American Female Architect to achieve licensure in the US. How wonderful is that?! And let us tell you, her designs are beyond great! And we aren’t the only ones who think so. We went to the company website and were blown away by the pictures, the amazing testimony from clients, and the endless amounts of press coverage. If you don’t know about Studio 397 you’re sleeping on them! We were completely floored and we know you will be too. @studio397
Dani Arps: Dani is an interior designer who started her own firm and has been recognised by many top design publications, received many awards, launched her own line with Industry West 2021 and partnered with Sotheby’s to curate an exhibit. In addition, she’s been asked to lecture at colleges around the US and Mexico. And she’s not just a talented designer, in 2019 H&M asked this lovely lady to be in a campaign! Recently in September 2022 she announced a new venture, Artisan @artisanallco that strives to combine brokerage, design, and project management; she talks about it in an article featured in @archdigest, check it out! @daniarps
